You have just entered Anitra’s Cute Art World. You could get lost here in the fantasy of miniature art works. But don't worry! You will come to no harm…unless you count falling in love as dangerous! Truly, the only threat these tiny bears and miniature art creations pose is that they may steal your affections!

Anitra's Cute Art World came into being ten years ago, when it’s founder and resident artist could no longer resist the desire to follow her dreams and became a full-time artist. Anitra has been designing miniature bears and animals for the past 15 years, creating unique designs under the Anitra Williams Fritz label.

She brings more than 20 years experience as a hair dresser and promotional make up artist for Estee Lauder to the mix that allows her to more readily apply the artistry of designing a stylish creation. As a child, Anitra was always interested in art, fashion, modeling, photography and sewing. The knowledge she gained as she studied her interests, are invaluable as she creates. It enables her to evaluate each bear and know just how to develop its person-ality. “This is the part of the creative process that I enjoy the most,” she says. "When I was a child, I loved to sit by my mother at her sewing machine and watch the fabric become a garment before my very eyes. It was magical!” She explained.

That magical moment is recaptured for her every time she creates a new bear. Anitra's bears are entirely hand-made and therefore one of a kind. Each one is fully jointed, their eyes are antiqued black glass and their noses are hand sculpted of pearl cotton thread. "I take great care in the placement of their eyes," she explained, "because it is from there that their individual personalities emerge." Most of my bears are not suitable for small children but rather are for adult collectors. I prefer to design mink and mohair miniature bears,” she added.

However, it's Anitra's newest love -- that of producing miniature works of art --that excites her today and Anitra’s Cute Art World has just announced her newest selection of miniature art works. These are: ATC/ACEO (Artist Trading Cards) a new artist and art collectors' phenomenon!!! Her creations keep her busy perfecting her artistic skills and developing her knowledge and marketing abilities while trying to keep up an inventory that disappears almost as quickly as it is created.

These miniature pieces are hand made with special items Anitra has collected over the years. ACEO cards measure 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 in size which is perfect for any pocket or purse. There are so many ways of displaying these unique works of art! You can also place them in frames and shadowboxes!

“My ATC/ACEO artist cards are mounted on chipboard for a sturdy base. I use mixed mediums for my art designs such as digital art creations, printed paper, stamps, ink, markers, water color, acrylic and oil, paints, water color and pastel pencils, tissue paper, jewels, brads, eyelets, glitter, beads, charms and much more. I love to recycle anything I can find as well. So nothing is ever wasted!" Anitra explains. "I use two different mediums for extra protection and age each design to give it an antiqued finish. All my little works of art come in a protective ATC collector’s sleeve. If the piece extends beyond the size of a collector sleeve they are shipped in protective packaging," she added.

"I put as much love on the back of my cards as I do on the front," she says. "You will be pleasantly surprised when you get yours!" All art pieces come with artist name, number, date and title. These little treasures make great gifts to give to that special someone you care about. Finding one or two to take home with you is not hard to do!

" I remember my mother was always making beautiful things, long before there was a crafting movement. I used to help her gather wild flowers dried by the winter weather. We would spray them with paints, arrange them in magnificent bouquets and sell them. So, I have always known that my creative success is measured by whether someone would buy what I have created because it pleases them and they simply must have it. "I hope you will find my whimsical creatures and tiny works of art as endearing as I have found them to be," she said.
